The Antibacterial Application of Graphene Oxide on Cotton Fabric

2016年12月21日

Abstract: In order to make the special antibacterial properties of graphene and cotton fiber combine effectively, the finishing process of graphene oxide on cotton was explored firstly. Then cotton fabrics combining graphene was obtained through reduction reaction. The method of bacteria culture was used to test the antibacterial properties. The dosage range of dipping temperature, dipping time, reduction temperature, concentration of reducing agent and graphene oxide were determined by single factor experiment. The orthogonal test was completed further to optimize the process. The results showed that the finished cotton fabrics had antimicrobial properties. The best antibacterial effect of cotton fabrics were achieved under the following condition: dipping at 60 ℃ for 100 minutes with graphene oxide of 5 g/L, insurance powder of 4 g/L and reducing at 100 ℃.
