Abstract: Printing and dyeing wastewater contains various dyes with complicated compositions, which are characterized by high concentration, dark chrominance and being not easily degraded, etc. Researchers around the world have explored the new treatment technology for printing and dyeing wastewater to meet the stricter discharge standards. This paper summarizes the new treatment methods, including magnetic separation method, radiation method, plasma method, etc., introduces the research progress on the treatment technology of printing and dyeing wastewater and makes a preliminary outlook for the application of new technology, providing a reference for the research on the treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater in the future.
