Advanced Treatment Process for Ammonia Fumigation Flame-retardant Finishing Wastewater
2026年9月15日
Abstract: To address the challenge of treating high-concentration organic phosphorus wastewater generated during flame-retardant finishing using tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium chloride-urea prepolymer, this study proposed a combined process of “electrochemical oxidation–chemical phosphorus removal/Fenton advanced oxidation–coagulation and sedimentation–biochemical treatment” based on practical industrial conditions. The results showed that the process significantly reduced total phosphorus from an initial concentration of 148 mg/L to 1.38 mg/L, while ammonia nitrogen and COD were also effectively reduced. Subsequent biochemical treatment, including acidification, anaerobic, anoxic, and aerobic processes, further improved the effluent quality, with final total phosphorus, ammonia nitrogen, and COD concentrations of 1.05 mg/L, 16 mg/L, and 126 mg/L, respectively, meeting the indirect discharge limits specified in “Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants for Dyeing and Finishing of Textile Industry” (GB 4287—2012).
