Abstract: Many scholars have demonstrated that the structure of clothing significantly affects its electromagnetic shielding properties. This paper summarizes current research on how factors like collar shape, sleeve shape, placket, hem, and other elements influence the electromagnetic shielding performance of garments. It describes the effects of both single-factor and multiple-factor garment structures on electromagnetic shielding, and projects future trends for civilian electromagnetic radiation protective clothing, offering references for the design and manufacturing of these garments.
