Abstract: Fluorine-containing waterproofing agents for textiles are more effective in waterproofing and oilproofing. Due to the presence of fluorine substances, some increasingly strict policies and regulations impose tighter restrictions and controls on the use of fluorine-containing substances. First, the paper introduces the impact and hazards of fluorine substances. Then, it sorts out and interprets the policies, regulations, and testing standards related to fluorine-containing textile waterproofing agents in recent years. The paper concludes by summarizing the development trend of waterproofing agents for textiles, offering a valuable reference for their future development and application.
