Abstract: In modern times, the textile and garment industry has experienced five international relocations. In the fifth transfer process led by China, labor and land costs remain the primary factors promoting industrial transfer. Meanwhile, the increasing trade protectionism and sluggish demand in the United States and European countries are important factors influencing the pace of industrial transfer. Using Jiangsu Province as a case study, this paper analyzes the current situation and trend of China’s textile and garment industry transfer.
