Abstract: Advances in new fiber materials, the processing technology of ropes and nets, and the technology for comprehensive development and utilization of marine resources boost the development and transformation of China’s ropes and nets industry. It has made an important contribution to the development and utilization of marine resources and the implementation of the national maritime strategy. The paper focuses on the application status of marine ropes and nets materials and products in China, analyzes its development trend, and puts forward development suggestions to provide a reference for the research and development of the ropes and nets industry.
