Development of Comfortable Silk-like Composite Fiber

Abstract: By using composite spinning technology, a comfortable silk-like composite fiber is developed.The regular octagonal star-shaped structure can improve the moisture absorption and wicking of the fiber;the pore-forming material is added to the fiber skin layer to make the fiber surface have a soft gloss. In order to make the pore-forming material evenly distributed in the fiber skin layer, the blending granulation technology is adopted. And the circular polyester fiber is selected as the fiber core layer to improve the spinnability and strength of the fiber, which provides a new idea for the development of silk-like fib er.
