Abstract: The carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals have pointed out a clear development direction for China’s textile industry. Therefore, low-carbon and sustainable development will be one of the fundamental principles of the industry for a long period of time in the future. Focusing on achieving carbon emissions to peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060 will be a whole-of-society and systematic project, which requires China’s textile industry to coordinate and cooperate with national departments, industrial organizations, industrial parks/clusters, and enterprises. In doing so, each participant can clarify respective positions, perform corresponding responsibilities, and give full use of low-carbon and green technologies to formulate reasonable and feasible safeguard measures to achieve the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
