Abstract: Labor force is the basic element of industrial development. This paper studies the new changes and characteristics of Chinese population structure, quality and mobility, analyzes the influence brought by the change of labor force to China’s textile industry, and puts forward some development suggestions for the textile industry to deal with labor problems. In order to actively cope with the pressure of labor supply, the industry should promote the education and training system, accelerate the digital transformation and upgrading of production and manufacturing system, and carry out scientific and reasonable regional layout, so as to ensure the stable operation and high-quality development of the industry.
