Intelligent Textiles Design Based on Force-sensitive Heating

2021年4月27日

Abstract: The paper designs and develops intelligent textiles from yarn materials, fabric weave, circuit analysis, etc. Graphene, carbon nanotubes, polypyrrole and other conductive and thermally conductive materials were used in the experiment. The upper layer of the two-layer fabric is printed with graphene paint in a grid form, and the lower layer is woven with conductive yarn. Based on multi-disciplinary knowledge, the paper designs the new intelligent textiles with adjustable temperature and local heating by stress by using the novel electrothermal principle of generating heat in the contact area under pressure. Due to the characteristics of foldable deformation, simple energy saving, high safety, practicality and convenience, this textile can be used in various fields such as constant temperature insulation of food, heating of automobile and airplane seats, rehabilitation and medical treatment, etc.
