Preparation and Photocatalytic Activity of Cotton Fabrics Loaded with Ag6Si2O7/g – C3N4

2020年1月21日

Abstract: The cotton fabrics loaded with Ag6Si2O7/g – C3N4 were prepared by in-situ deposition. The effect of g – C3N4 content on photocatalytic activity of cotton fabrics was investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (Uv–Vis DRS) were used to characterize crystal structure, physical morphology, chemical composition and absorbable light of cotton fabrics. The photocatalytic activity and durability of cotton fabrics loaded with Ag6Si2O7/g – C3N4 was evaluated by degrading methylene blue (MB) under light irradiation. XRD, SEM and EDS analysis demonstrated that Ag6Si2O7/g – C3N4 was successfully loaded on cotton fabrics. UV-Vis DRS analysis showed that the cotton fabrics loaded with Ag6Si2O7/g – C3N4 had more stable visible light photocatalytic activity. The degradation rate by cotton fabrics loaded with Ag6Si2O7/g –C3N4 increased first and then decreased with the increase of g – C3N4 content. When the content of g – C3N4 was 10%, the degradation rate was 95% under visible light irradiation for 30 min, and still reached about 85% after 3 recycling runs.
