Abstract: A cotton/antibacterial viscose/hemp blended yarn was used to develop a single-face weft-knitted flat-stitch fabric with characteristics like good comfort, functionality and health and eco-friendly on the Orizio single circular knitting machine. The paper introduces in detail the fabric design ideas, raw material selection, stitch structure, equipment parameters, knitting parameters and other knitting processes, as well as pre-treatment, dyeing, post-treatment, shaping etc., and carries out the test on the basic properties and functional characteristics of the fabric. Results indicated that the properties of the developed fabric meet the standard requirements.
