Abstract: The paper introduced the definition of the colored slub yarn, and characterized the appearance of the colored slub yarn with parameters. The paper mainly explored 12 different pattern design of colored slub yarn via a three-channel digital spinning machine. Based on the mechanism of the three-channel digital spinning machine and the appearance parameters of the colored slub yarn, the paper studied on the design process of the colored slub yarns formed by various alternating super-feeding, and explained the appearance styles of the colored slub yarns via different processes by experiment.
