Abstract: The reactive dye with double reactive groups was used to dye cationic modified pineapple fiber/cotton knitted fabrics. The effects of dosage of cationic modifier and sodium hydroxide, modification temperature and time on dye up-take and K/S value of modified pineapple fiber/cotton knitted fabrics were studied. The optimal conditions of modification was investigated through orthogonal experiments. The results showed that the optimal process was dosage of cationic modifier 5 g/L, dosage of sodium hydroxide 10 g/L, and modification temperature at 70 ℃ for 50 min.
