Abstract: In order to improve the antistatic property of synthetic fiber fabric, durable antistatic agent DM-3748 was used to finish polyester and polyamide/polyurethane knitted fabrics. The influence of dosage of DM-3748, temperature and time of heat setting on finishing effect was discussed. The antistatic effect, color change, wet rubbing fastness and hand feel of fabric before and after finishing were also compared.

The result showed that DM-3748 could improve the antistatic property of the fabrics obviously with good washing resistance. Recommend finishing process was DM-3748 dosage 10 ～ 20 g/L, heat setting at 170 ～180 ℃ for 40 ～ 50 s.
