Abstract: The principle of anti-ultraviolet textile and the influencing factors on its resistance to ultraviolet were described. The methods of improving the function of UV resistant textile were summarized, and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods were given. The Recent progress of ultraviolet resistant textile was introduced from the following aspects: fibrous materials, stitch structure, dyeing and modification.Some guidelines for the further research of ultraviolet resistant textile were also put forward.
