Abstract: The influences of resin finishing on the comfort of linen fabric were analyzed. The stress-strain properties, compressive properties,friction properties, air permeability and moisture permeability of pristine linen and finished linen were tested. The results showed that mechanical properties and comfort properties of linen fabrics changed obviously after resin finishing. The comprehensive properties of linen fabric finished by the etherified DMDHEU resin were better than that of linen fabric finished by DMDHEU resin.
