Abstract: Based on analyzing the status-quo of China’s knitting industry and from the strategic perspective of guiding the development of the industry, the article puts for ward the ideas and measures for promoting the construction of ten major projects under the guidance of technology during the 13^th “Five-year Plan”period (2016 — 2020). The ten major projects focus on fostering talents, improving designing skill,upgrading standards, innovation of management, green development, intelligent manufacturing, brand cultivation, transformation of industrial clusters, optimizing layout and international cooperation.
