Abstract: This paper analyzed and compared the comparative advantages and competitive advantages of top ten textile and apparel exporters in the world based on WTO statistics. The result shows that China’s textile industry still has strong comparative advantages and the competitive advantages have been improving evidently in the past decade. Then the paper further analyzed both advantages and disadvantages of China’s textile industry compared to its foreign counterparts.
