Life cycle impact assessment is one of the most important processes in life cycle assessment.After synthetically analyzing the life cycle impact assessment in the world and considering the environmental characters of life cycle processes in domestic cotton fabric, an implemental method for life cycle impact assessment of cotton fabric has been put forward in this paper. The method includes several procedures, i.e. selection of environment impact categories, construction of the assessment model and explanation for the characterization results. As a result, this paper may provide a reference basis for the eco-design and development of cotton fabric products.
