Patented air transport technology achieves significant water reduction and efficiency improvements
The textile industry was stuck with washing processes that waste water, consume excessive energy, and limit fabric quality. Biancalani's engineering team asked: What if we could overcome ALL these limitations?
The answer is AQUARIA® - the patented open-width continuous washing system which rewrites industry rules.
Open-width AIRO® technology
AQUARIA® moves fabric exclusively through air, applying effective mechanical washing action via two large accumulation chambers connected by a pneumatic ejector with impact grids. Air and water ensure uniform saturation while guaranteeing 100% defect-free processing.
Technical performance parameters:
• Water: starting with just 500 liters, and using as low as 2-5 L/kg
• Eco-bleaching with zero water discharge (< 1L/kg)
• Complete elimination of harmful chemicals in many processes
• Working widths up to 3600 mm
• Production speeds up to 80 m/min
• No limits in fabric weight and construction

Multi-fiber processing capabilities
From silk to heavy denim and terry towel: cotton/blends, linen, lyocell, cupro, modal, polyester and synthetics, wool. Specialized treatments include enzymatic bio-polishing, revolutionary eco-bleaching (zero caustic, zero chlorine), AQUASTONE indigo shade reduction, AQUA+FLAT indigo fixing, full lyocell preparation, relaxed mercerization, and washing after dyeing/printing.
