According to China Customs data, China imported 138,300 tons of cotton yarn in June, up by 34.40% year-on-year; the exports reached 16,300 tons, down 26.70% year-on-year. The net import volume was 121,900 tons, which soared by 51.35% year-on-year.

From January to June, China’s cumulative imports of cotton yarn amounted to 678,700 tons, down 6.81% year-on-year; cumulative exports reached 122,400 tons, down 11.24% year-on-year.
