Production Practice of Lyocell/Acrylic (70/30) Compact Siro Spinning Blended Yarn

Abstract: The spinning process of lyocell/acrylic (70/30) compact Siro spinning blended yarn was discussed in this paper. The spinning processes were optimized based on the characteristics of lyocell fiber and acrylic fiber, so as to solve the problems of high static electricity, large damage, small cohesion and poor spinnability during the processes. In doing so, lyocell/acrylic (70/30) compact Siro spinning blended yarn was successfully spun. The test results indicated that by adopting reasonable process configuration and special equipment to blend lyocell fiber and acrylic fiber, the related yarn index can meet the market demand for differentiated regenerated cellulose fiber yarn.
