ITMA ASIA + CITME 2020 will be held on June 12-16 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (NECC) in Shanghai. By then, more than 1 200 outstanding textile machinery manufacturers from more than 20 countries and regions including Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, and South Korea will participate in the exhibition, showing related equipment and design software for the whole textile and apparel value chain including spinning, weaving, knitting, printing, dyeing and finishing, nonwovens, embroidery, sewing, braiding, packaging. In doing so, the exhibition will bring solutions to the entire industry chain. The total exhibition area is 170 000 m².

It is said that the exhibition will open 6 exhibition halls in NECC for display. Among them, spinning machinery, chemical fiber machinery and nonwovens machinery exhibition area are concentrated in the No.7.1 and No.8.1 halls; weaving machinery exhibition area is concentrated in the No.3 hall; No.4.1 hall is the knitting machinery exhibition area; No.5.1 and No.6.1 halls are the exhibition area for printing, dyeing and finishing machinery; and the research and innovation zone is located in No.5.1 hall.

As a grand event for the global textile machinery industry held in the first year of the “14th Five-year Plan” period (2021-2025), ITMA ASIA + CITME 2020 is an important platform for displaying innovative achievements, industry exchanges and cooperation, and efficient match-making among enterprises, universities, and research institutes in China’s new journey to become the textile power. It will also further help the textile industry to promote the “dual circulation” development pattern in which domestic economic cycle plays a leading role while international economic cycle remains its extension and supplement, and explore the path of high-quality development.
