Abstract: This paper introduced the industrialized application of PVA salting-out recovery system. With this system, dyeing and printing enterprises could achieve lower costs and reduce COD of desizing wastewater through recovering and reusing PVA. After recovering from the desizing wastewater, the recovery rate of PVA was over 90%; COD could be reduced from 14 500 mg/L to 3 000 mg/L, greatly easing the pressure on westewater treatment. The application of PVA recovery system met the requirement of eco-friendly dyeing and finishing process, and it also had a cost advantage.
