Abstract: In this paper, microcapsule technology was introduced. Several main preparation methods of microcapsules applied in textile finishing were briefly introduced, including complex coacervation, single phase condensation, interfacial polymerization and in-situpolymerization method. Finally, the application of microcapsules was introduced from the perspectives of dyeing, printing and functional finishing.
