Imports of China’s Cotton and Cotton Yarn both Declined in May

According to the China General Administration for Customs, China imported 70,000 tons of cotton in May, decreased by 42% month-on-month and 61% year-on-year. From January to May, China imported 800,000 tons of cotton, seeing a year-on-year decline of 22%.


In May, China imported 100,000 tons of cotton yarn, fell by 52.38% year-on-year.
