Abstract: CO emissions of cotton, wool, and PET fabric were quantitatively researched by using Cone Calorimeter. The results indicate that the starting time and amount of CO emission from fabric are determined by its fiber. Owing to addition of phosphorous flame retardant, the starting time of CO emissions of the fabric is advanced. And the amount of CO released from fabric is increased due to its flame-retardant treatment.
