Abstract: The laws, regulations and administrative provisions on concentration limits of toxic and harmful substances in textiles launched by developed countries since the 21st century are discussed and analyzed in this paper, as well as its test methods and standards. It points out that more and more chemical substances will be put on the restriction list along with the development of science and technology, and the upgrading of technical trade barriers. Domestic textile and related industries must show high concern over this trend.
