Abstract: At present, the safety problem of textile chemicals is one of the main obstacles to influence the innovation-driven and the transformation of development mode in the textile chemicals industry and the dyeing and finishing industry. Therefore, many countries take a series of measures to control prohibited and restricted hazardous chemicals in textile chemicals, including vigorously and quickly improving legislation, establishing standards, strengthening management etc.. The latest developments of the prohibited and restricted hazardous chemicals in textile chemicals in the first half of 2013 at home and abroad were described in this article. From which, this trend can be seen.
