In this paper, textile labeling system , which includes labels of fiber content, care labeling,size, country of origin, eco-textile, functional properties and so on, was introduced. The effects on the textile industry were discussed. The problems in the global harmonization access of textile labeling system were pointed out. The development trend of the textile labeling system was revealed and some suggestions were given on the global harmonization process of labeling system.
