Abstract: Chinese traditional costumes boast a long history and diversified design elements. In recent years, many worldwide well-known fashion brands draw inspiration from Chinese traditional costumes, including traditional patterns and processing methods. This paper sums up how these international fashion brands learn from Chinese traditional costumes for reference to develop their innovative design, hoping to inspire Chinese local brands and designers to find ways to the heritage and innovation of Chinese traditional costumes.
