Abstract: Based on analyzing applications of deconstructionism in multi-functional garment design, the paper summed up three application methods, namely the disassembly method, the combination method and the converting method, and applied them to both congeneric function conversion and non-congeneric function conversion; and based on living examples as well as the decomposition charts of styles and finished products, it finally established a multi-functional variation, which provides a viable reference for meeting diversified demands of different consumers at different occasions via the multi-functional changes of a single modeling structure.
