Abstract: In this article, the body measurements of 500 young men in Southwest China were obtained by 3D body scanning and the data of 18 key parts of human body were collected and analyzed by using SPSS software to obtain the weighted average circumference of each part of the standard human body, then a 3D mesh of human body profile was set up by introducing 3DMAX, thus establishing a 3D model of standard human body. It provides China’s garment industry with a new way of thinking for introducing IT technology to collecting and analyzing human body size-related data.
