The Application of Paper Cutting Art in Fashion Design from Cultural and Creative Perspective

Abstract: From cultural and creative perspective and taking China’s traditional crafts – paper-cutting art as an example, the paper analyzed the effective ways for integrating national culture with modern fashion design from three aspects, namely the choice of paper-cut pattern, the interpretation of the colors of papercut works and the expression of paper-cutting art on fashion. The techniques for applying paper-cutting art in fashion design were also investigated.
