Abstract: The article introduced the concept of ease allowance of geometric ornament and compared it with functional ease allowance. It also discussed the locations and principle of using ease allowance of geometric ornament. Ease allowance of geometric ornament is often applied in sleeve top, bodice and bottom, etc. Combining ease allowance of geometric ornament with modeling and structure will provide theoretic reference for pattern designing and modeling.
