Abstract: By analyzing the application fields of innovative pattern designs such as the characteristics of times they interpret, the language they express, the scope of creative ideas extended by pattern design techniques and the commercial success achieved by cross-boundary pattern design, the author holds that the innovative applications of patterns have inspired the application of multiple space concept and multiple design concept in costume design.
