Abstract: This paper probes into the styles and structures of representative European men’s suits in the early 20th century and both subjective and objective factors that influence the styles and structures, including social and cultural environment, science and technology, etc. It summarizes systematically the evolution,characteristics and origin of European men’s suits structures and their inspiration to modern fashion design.
