Abstract: The management of pet mood and health has gained more attention from both pet owners and pet medical institutions. In response to the emotional health problems of pet dogs, such as depression and bipolar disorder, and the owners’ need for scientific pet dog management, an item of intelligent clothing with emotional feedback capability is designed for pet dogs. Taking medium-sized short-haired dogs as the research object, this paper firstly clarifies the physiological indexes of emotion model establishment through a questionnaire survey; secondly, based on the above points, the overall design scheme of the intelligent dog clothing is specifically analyzed from the functional system, and the physiological data of pet dogs are clustered and analyzed for their emotions to realize the mutual combination of clothing, hardware and software; finally, the functionality of the clothing is tested through experiments. The results demonstrate that the clothing can effectively analyze changes in pet dogs’ emotions in various living environments. This contributes to meeting the innovative demands of the emerging pet clothing market and offers guidance for the design of intelligent pet dog clothing.
