Study on the Preparation and Performance of Silk Fibroin/Polyurethane Multilayer Composite PM2.5 Filtration Membrane

Abstract: By adopting alternating electrostatic spinning - electrostatic spraying technology, a novel bilayer made from silk fibroin nanofiber substrates (SFNFs) and polyurethane micronanopospheres (PUNSs) was developed. And a polyurethane nanofiber layer with deposited silver nanoparticles (PUNF-AgNPs) was deposited between them, therefore, the SFNFs/PUNF-AgNPs/PUNSs (SPAP) multilayer composite film was prepared, which can be used as a PM2.5 filtration membrane with antibacterial effect. The surface morphology,structure, wettability, antibacterial properties and PM2.5 filtration performance of the SPAP membrane were tested. The results show that it has a good antibacterial, anti-fouling, and PM2.5 filtration effect.
