Anti-crease Mechanism and Performance Evaluation of High Shaperetentive Yarn-dyed Cotton High-grade Shirting

Abstract: In order to improve the wrinkle resistance of high-count pure cotton shirting, the experiment used 7.28 tex×2 yarns and weaved into four different weaves, i.e., plain weave, 2/2 twill, 4/4 twill, and mini jacquard. Adopting the liquid ammonia moist crosslinking and liquid ammonia non-ironing process, the experiment compared the dimensional stability and shape retention of the four fabrics. Results indicated that after liquid ammonia moist crosslinking, fabrics of 2/2 twill and 4/4 twill weave can achieve level 4.0 of wash and use after 10 times’ washing, which can meet people’s demand for washing and wearing of highcount cotton shirts.
