Simulation and Optimization of One-piece Flow Garment Assembly Line

Abstract: Taking a Chinese silk cheongsam as an example, based on the factors that affect the production efficiency, the paper carried out a simulation and optimization research on one-piece flow garment assembly line for cheongsam via Flexsim software. First, establish the simulation optimization model. On the basis of that and process flow, build the cheongsam simulation assembly line. With the help of fitting software,the paper performed functional analysis on measured operating time, and obtain the operating surplus and backlog status of each station, so as to combine the processes and carry out simulation cycle test after recompilation.In the end, the research can help with a looming process problem, and greatly improved the production volume and production balance rate, and also effectively verified that the feasibility of the Flexsim software to simulate the production of a garment assembly line.
