Investigation on the Method of Sizing and Desizing for Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Anhydrous Dyeing and Related Equipment

Abstract: Supercritical carbon dioxide anhydrous dyeing can effectively reduce environmental pollution.This paper introduces a method of sizing and desizing for supercritical carbon dioxide anhydrous dyeing in the field of textile printing and dyeing as well as its related high-pressure device. The waxy sizing agent is used for sizing before supercritical carbon dioxide anhydrous dyeing. The entire desizing process only uses supercritical carbon dioxide fluid to desize the agent. There is no need to deal with waste liquid, just reduce the working pressure of the device, carbon dioxide will back to the original gas state, and can be recycled for the next step of dyeing. The remaining sizing agent can also be reused. The entire process is completely green and environmentally friendly. The high-pressure device has a simple design and low equipment cost, which provides a low-cost and efficient way for the test in product development.
