Research on Calendered Surface Treatment of Polyester Needle Felt Filters

Abstract: This paper implemented a calendered surface treatment on polyester needle felt filters and carried out a comparative analysis of the performance indicators and filtration performance of polyester needle felt under the new treatment and the conventional calendering and singeing process. Results indicated that, compared with the polyester filters under the conventional processing technology, the calendered surface treatment makes the polyester needle felt has certain advantages in terms of ash cleaning performance and filtration fineness. This research helps to develop new production processes in the filter material industry and promotes the development of the filter bag industry.
