Design and Production of the Polyester/Polyamide Interwoven Taslan Fabric

Abstract: This paper introduces the product design of polyester/polyamide interwoven Taslan fabric and analyzes in detail on its related production technology and technical measures of the key processes such as warping, filament sizing and water-jet weaving. The polyester/polyamide interwoven Taslan fabric was double plain weave with 100 D polyester filament as its warp yarn, and 160 D and 250 D polyamide air textured filament as its weft yarn, which was weaved by the imported water-jet loom. After relaxation,refining, alkali reduction, dyeing, softening and shaping, the fabric forms a honeycomb structure on the surface, which can not only reflect the Taslan fabric style characteristics, but also give full play to the advantages of polyester fiber and polyamide fiber.
