Analysis of the Problems Related to Technological Optimization and Equipment Transformation and Upgrading of Semi-worsted Yarns

Abstract: Semi-worsted spinning is a new spinning technology independently developed by China. It reforms the conventional wool spinning process and can produce new type yarns with unique styles. Based on many years’ production practice of domestic semi-worsted enterprises, the paper analyzes the technical advantages of semi-worsted fabrics and the disadvantages of current production. It also points out that to further develop semi-worsted technology, it is necessary to optimize spinning technology and upgrade related equipment. At the end of the paper, it discusses the key points of optimization on process technology and the direction of equipment transformation and upgrading, so as to make the semi-worsted process and equipment more suitable for the production of high-quality yarns and further expand its application fields.
