Detection and Analysis of the Performance of Polyester Needle-punched Felt Filtration Material

Abstract: Using the CSZC high speed needle piercer, the polyester fiber was prepared into a needle filter with different thickness specifications with a mass of 550 g/m2, and its permeability, strength and elongation, resistance, and dust filtration properties were tested in turn. The influence of the thickness on the comprehensive properties of the filter material was investigated, and the relative mechanism was discussed.The results showed that: 550 g/m2 polyester filter material per unit area quality decreased with the thickness decreases, the strength increased, and the elongation decreased. However, the permeability will decrease,the filtration resistance will increase accordingly, and the dust removal efficiency of the filter material will increase. At a thickness of 1.8-2.0 mm, the filter material has high dust removal efficiency, strength and elongation, and appropriate filtration resistance.
