Application and Prospect of Titanium-based Catalysts in the Polyester Synthesis ( I )

Abstract: The paper introduced the preparation of titanium-based catalysts for PET synthesis and the technology of using this catalyst in the production of polyester, including the reason why restrict antimony catalyst. In view of the effect of technology and application on targeted products, the paper considered that titanium catalyst can effectively reduce the consumption of rare resources, improve the efficiency of PET synthesis, improve product quality and decrease processing costs. Titanium-based catalysts can reduce environmental protection pressure in the recycling process and final consumption, and enhance its safety in the field of food package and garment, thereby improving the overall competitiveness.
