Design and Development of Nano Enhanced Far Infrared Knitted Pants with Thermal and Physical Therapy Functions

Abstract: This paper sums up the development status of garment with electrothermal physical therapy functions, and designs a ladies' high-waist knitted pants with thermal and physical therapy functions based on inter-disciplinary theory, ergonomics and interactive design and by using nano-enhanced far-infrared electrical heating element. Research shows that, for the high-waist knitted pants with flexible nano-enhanced far-infrared electrical heating fabric, the electrical heating element made from composite fiber twisted electrothermal yarn can rapidly increase the temperature of a specific part of human body within a few minutes, and the temperature as well as the physical therapy functions can be adjusted intelligently without any harm to the human body.
